Stuck in a loop

Imagine a future technology, a small brain implant that connects your mind to the network. No more computer screens, all the information just shows up in your mind as if you were seeing it. Even auditory information, smell and touch. No more keyboards and mouse. You can just will it and it will happen. You are connected to the network anywhere, anytime; getting information is as easy as thinking it, sending information as easy as imagining it. Computers are a relic, cumbersome and arcane by comparison.

Imagine a future in which your friends have the same implant, like you they are connected anywhere, anytime. The network lets you communicate with them. No more picking up phones and dailing number. You just think what you want to communicate. They can see what you see, hear what you hear, visualize what you're imagining. What needs to talk and explain things, when others can just tap into your brain.

Imagine a world where people can easily tap into each other's minds, where we can instantly know what the other perons is thinking and feeling.

We will have all the same fucking song stuck in our brain.
